The Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2025 "Thai Identity Costume Showcase" competition featured Nathapath Plasee, contestant number 27, in the "Ai Teng Ai Tong" costume, which won the “Best of Thai Identity Costume Showcase” award. The "Ai Teng Ai Tong" costume is inspired by the cultural heritage of Phatthalung, the hometown of 'Sunray'. It is crafted using leather from traditional Thai shadow puppets (nang talung) and incorporates the unique characters of Ai Teng and Ai Tong, using gold colors to reflect prosperity and the intricate beauty of local art. The design blends traditional craftsmanship with modern fashion techniques, elevating the heritage art form to a global stage. Miss Tiffany’s Universe competition is nearing its final stages, with the 'Preliminary Round' on Thursday, March 13, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, and the 'Final Night' on Saturday, March 15, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM at the Tiffany Show Theatre in Pattaya.Photos by Chanakarn Laosarakham / Thai News Pix
