Dangerous Heat in Bangkok

Bangkok is currently experiencing danger-level heat index reading* between 42.0–51.9°C, prompting residents to use umbrellas and sunshades while walking near Bang Rak intersection under extreme heat conditions. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that from April 22–25, upper Thailand will face very hot to extreme heat, especially in Bangkok. The public is advised to limit outdoor activities, avoid the 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM time frame, and monitor their health. Immediate medical attention is recommended if any abnormal symptoms occur.
