Pol. Gen. Somyot Poompanmoung, former National Police Chief, along with Net Naksuk, former Deputy Attorney General, and Chainarong Saengthong-aram, former Senior Prosecutor, appeared at the Central Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases in Taling Chan on April 22, 2025, to hear the verdict in Case No. OrTor 131/2567. The case concerns the alleged tampering of speed evidence in the 2012 hit-and-run incident involving Vorayuth "Boss" Yoovidhya, which resulted in the death of Police Sergeant Major Wichian Klanprasert.
