Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,visited the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) to inspect and oversee the situation regarding the suspension of electricity supply at 5 points in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. This will take effect from today, 9:00 AM onwards. The electricity supply to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar will be suspended at the following 5 trading points:** - The electricity trading point along the Mae Sai River, Thailand’s border, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, to the town of Tachileik, Shan State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. - The electricity trading point at Ban Muang Daeng, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, to the town of Tachileik, Shan State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. - The electricity trading point at Ban Huai Muang, Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand, to the town of Myawaddy, Karen State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. - The electricity trading point at the 2nd Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge, Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand, to the town of Myawaddy, Karen State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. - The electricity trading point at the border of Ban Phra Chedi Sam Ong, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, to the town of Payathonzu, Mon State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
